Description
Mumbai, the beating heart of India, is a cosmopolitan metropolis steeped in colonial history and cultural diversity. Formerly known as Bombay, it is the birthplace of Bollywood and is famous for its spicy street food and seafood dishes. A city of contrasts, it blends age-old traditions with modernity.
You’ll cook the valley’s signature dishes alongside Apolina, our chef of Indian origin.
On the menu:
– Talleli Macchi – spiced pan-fried fish, marinated in a mixture of garam masala and turmeric; – Kanda che koshmir – a salad of fresh onions, seasoned with chillies and herbs; – Poha – rice flakes stir-fried with peanuts, curry and lemon; – Bharli vaangi – aubergines stuffed with a mixture of coconut, tamarind and spices; – Shreekhand – yoghurt cream with saffron and pistachios.Drinks are included (aperitif + 2 glasses of wine + fruit juice & water); you will receive the recipe cards after the class.
The workshop is held in French and English.
